Qualification: CPA, USCPA, Systems Auditor, CISA, CISM, CISSP

Hiromi Iwashita graduated from Chuo University, Faculty of Commerce in 1978, and completed the master’s course at the Graduate School of Commerce, Chuo University in 1980. In the same year, he joined the auditing division of Arthur Anderson & Co. (now KPMG AZSA LLC) in Tokyo. He worked there for or 37 years in auditing and IT auditing/advisory services. He became a partner in 2001. During that time, he was involved in CRM (Computer Risk Management) business as the director and then became Director of KPMG Business Assurance Co. After four years in the Atlanta office, he served as KPMG Information Security Services Global Leader and KPMG Information Risk Management ASPAC Leader. He retired as a partner in 2017 and established Cyberprotec Inc in 2019. He joined Makoto International Audit Corporation as a partner in March 2023.
